Seamus Montague
Seamus is a high school student and talented football kicker known for making field goals from as far as 65 yards. For him, kicking isn’t just a part of football—it’s where he finds focus, confidence, and a powerful sense of purpose.
Over countless hours of practice, Seamus developed a deep love for the technical side of kicking, perfecting his steps, timing, and precision. He’s learned to handle the pressure of being on the field by blocking out the noise and narrowing his focus to one thing: the ball and the goalposts ahead.
Believing that small details—like making sure the laces are out on every kick—can make a huge difference, Seamus founded Laces Out Kicking to share his passion with others. Through workshops for young athletes, he teaches the fundamentals of football kicking while encouraging kids to aim high, believe in themselves, and discover how rewarding it feels to split the uprights.
Seamus hopes that by helping others learn the art and science of kicking, he can inspire kids to see football not just as a game, but as a pathway to confidence, discipline, and belonging.
